SER CEO wins IMPACT award

Nory Angel, SER Executive Director & CEO was honored with the Center for Houston's Future IMPACT award on Tuesday, October 26th, 2016 at the River Oaks Country Club.

Center for Houston’s Future IMPACT Award is designed to recognize transformative, of-the-moment leadership by our Leadership Forum Alums. This award, voted on solely by alumni, will be presented to a Graduate of the Center for Houston’s Future whose extraordinary community service is having a meaningful and beneficial impact on the people of the greater Houston region. The impact may be demonstrated in any area addressed by the Center’s Forums and other programs, such as education and workforce, energy, environment, health, immigration, quality of place, public safety, social services, technology, mobility, arts, or cultural heritage.

Background: Center for Houston’s Future was founded in 2000 to “look over the horizon” to identify and address critical issues for the Greater Houston region. Created in 2012, the IMPACT Award is intended to recognize an of-the-moment leader, and complements the Eugene H. Vaughan Award presented for a lifetime of civic leadership.

For more information on the award, visit the Center for Houston's Future website.
